“Honestly, one of the best piano lessons I’ve ever had. I am a pianist and a piano teacher myself and I feel like I have plateaued in my practice. In only one lesson, Tomoko helped me figure out how to start practicing to reach a new level of mastery. I cannot wait for my next lesson and highly recommended Tomoko as a piano teacher to anyone at any level of musicianship!”
“Dr. Ozawa is such a responsible lecturer with great personality!
She cares about your study, and is willing to help you in anyways she can. Talk with her about your concern, she will find a way to help you walk out of the maze! What I like the most is that she takes music seriously, which motivates her students as well.”
“Tomoko is a patient and dedicated teacher. She pays attention to details and makes sure students are getting the basics. Highly recommend!”
“Tomoko is an absolute gem of a piano teacher! I’ve been her student for 2 years and my playing has soared thanks to her expertise and passion. She’s not only incredibly knowledgeable, but her teaching style is so engaging that I always look forward to lessons”
“I have been taking piano lessons from her over several years. Throughout our piano lessons she has taught me the importance of exercising soft hands, having a proper posture when playing piano, stay calm and breath, while learning new notes or new rhythm. She stresses that piano is a beautiful instrument that takes time to learn. Through her teachings, I have learned that to become successful or be able to enjoy piano playing a person must dedicate themselves. Dedication begins by taking time to learn step by step different techniques, learning to adjust hands on the piano keys without over extending, give at list 15 minutes each day to perfect the skills, and allow yourself to enjoy the process.
If you are looking for a piano teacher who demonstrates patience, compassion for the art, broad knowledge of the instrument, and always strives to help her students to do better, then Tomoko is that perfect Piano teacher.”
